|Booking system||An AGM is held in September/October in the Midlands; |
usually Alvechurch Marina, Redditch. One item on the
agenda is the drawing of weeks.
The year is divided up into 4 seasons;
Spring- March to May, Summer- June to August,
Autumn- September to Mid November,
and Winter- Mid November to February.
We draw at the meeting for all our 4 weeks; one week per season.
We then spend the next 20/30 minutes circulating
with other owners to exchange dates to find the
most suitable for everybody.
Cordiality and camaraderie always prevails amongst everyone.
|Priority for school holidays||None.|

General comments by vendor
The boat has been well maintained throughout the 14 years we have had a share in it.
The boat had a complete repaint at Anderton Marina in February 2018.
As a syndicate, we believe in funding a reserve account from our monthly subscription. The reserve is now £11773, and we have reduced our monthly subscription from £110 to £75 per month.
On selling our share, our contribution put in the reserve account simply hands over to the new owner. We anticipate having to renew the engine in approx. 3-4 years time; although we are told it could be longer, but the funds in the reserve account should be sufficient to fund that without having to contribute extra. An owner, subsequently finding he/she is unable to take their allocated week, will notify the managing agents, who will then offer it by e-mail to the other owners. This more often occurs in the winter months.
